As per recent survey, it was reported that the more 90% cataract surgical procedures are successful in restoration of patients, with extremely low complication rate. Strong glare from lights is one of major symptoms of the cataract. Reduced acuity at low light levels is another symptom of symptom.

Although lasik laser is associated with high success rate of 92-98% but if carried out by unqualified eye surgeons, the lasik laser surgical procedures are associated with certain limitations. Changes made to the cornea at the lasik laser surgical procedures cannot be reversed. Other limitation of lasik laser surgical procedures is that additional lasik laser surgical procedures can only be performed for further correction of vision.
